I have always been a lover of a good smut read but I have to draw the line quickly these days since a lot of authors pump out books with the extra cheesy love affairs or try their best rendition of the “50 Shades” series. Pleasure Palace by Obsession is a downright dirty girl read that lovers of erotica will enjoy, but only if you are not looking for cheesy storylines.
Someone has it out for his friend Jeremy and his fiancé ever since they announced their engagement. At first sight, he wanted Kara but Kara wanted Jeremy. With a wedding on the horizon, a man with a jealous rage is determined to tear the happy couple apart.
This ‘mystery man’ comes up with a definitive plan to put their seemingly superficial relationship to the test at Pleasure Palace. With a little scheming and manipulation, he manages to bring his crowd of friends together and head off to Pleasure Palace where the staff of ‘Pleasers’ are waiting to take part in rocking Jeremy and Kara to point of no return. The plan is set in motion and you would have to read Pleasure Palace yourself to find out who wants to destroy this union and if his dirty plan will make or break this couple.
Pleasure Palace is not a BDSM read but rather a raunchy swingers-like club made for passion. Points of views are switched throughout focusing on each of the characters and their time at Pleasure Palace. The transitions from one point of view to the next are smooth and each character will experience a totally different fantasy. Another element that I love about this erotic tale, Obsession introduces her chapters with seductive poetry.
Obsession’s imagination runs wild in Pleasure Palace and I sure blushed a lot reading some of the dirty-dirty happening in this book. If you are looking for a book to cause your blood to warm up and arouse your “you-know-what,” then Pleasure Palace might just be for you.
